ACC Big Four Predictions Revisited (Week 2 Results)

Original Predictions: LINK

LJ: Week 2 (4-0): Season (5-3): I think the theme from this weekend is, "A win is a win." It wasn't pretty, be it winning safety calls or trouncing lesser division schools, but the Big 4 ran the table this weekend. Just what they needed to start garnering some respect.
  • NCSU vs. Murray St (hit): There's the offense! The Pack played well and vented a little stored up frustration from the previous weekend.
  • WFU vs. Stanford (hit): Great comeback by the Deacs. Grobe's stoic confidence leads the Deacs back. Skinner brought back memories of his freshman year.
  • Duke vs. Army (hit): So, Cutcliffe replaced starter Lewis with redshirt freshman Renfree in the middle of the game down 10-7. Result 35-19 W. Very good call.
  • UNC vs. UConn (hit): U-G-L-Y. The Heels' turnovers and stymied running game kept them in check for 3 quarters, but once they remembered they had Houston and quick routes they began to move the ball. Hate to win on the safety via holding call, but the guy did tackle Quinn and those are the rules. 2-0 and moving on...
