- Shawn Draughn, Ryan Houston, and Jamal Womble. This trio led the rushing attack that total 261 yards against the Citadel. Don't look for as large a total this game, but the RBs will play a large role in the Tar Heels success.
- Size. The offensive line might be inexperienced by they outweight their UConn defensive counterparts by an average of 40 lbs. Most notably 300+ pounders Jolly and Ingersall vs. UConn's 238 pound Joseph.
- Injuries. UConn's defensive leader, Scott Lutrus, is questionable for the game tomorrow with a shoulder injury. His coach calls him "indispensable."
- Defensive Depth. Austin, Sturdivant, and Quinn lead a deep and experienced frontline against UConn's formidable RB combination of Todman and Dixon. The Heels will give up more than the 30 yards the Citadel gained, but in a match-up of strength on strength the Heels have the advantage.
- Turnovers. Zach Frazer threw 3 INT's last year against the Heels and did the same last week against Ohio University. Watch for the Heels to capitalize on his miscues.
