LJ: UNC has a reputation for having many fans that have no affiliation with the school. Generally, my reaction is to welcome them, accept their fervor (even if sometimes unguided), and tink an aluminum cheers to the respective event.

However, for those who prefer to brand their loyalty in ink on their face, I might suggest staying away from endeavors where it is used to identify you to the police.
